THOMAS EDWARD HANDLON JR., 63
Thomas Edward Handlon Jr. "Foot," 63 of Ionia, passed away  April 29, 2018. He was
born Oct. 8, 1954,  in Madison, Ind., the son of Thomas and Helen (Paul) Handlon Sr. He 
graduated from Portland High School, Class of 1972. He was a semi-driver for years
and later worked as a groundskeeper at Portland Country Club and Morrison Lake Golf
Course. He was a band member for Bethlehem Rose in his younger years.

Thomas is survived by his siblings Daniel (Pamela) Handlon of Ionia, Liz (John)
Clark of Grand Ledge, Cathy (Robert) Beard of Ionia, and special friend Monica Jenkins. He is
also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous long-time friends. He was preceded 
in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Lake funeral home in Ionia on Thursday, May 3,
at 2 p.m. with Reverend Marilyn Danielson officiating. Interment Balcom cemetery. Visitation
will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions  to a charity of your choice in memory of Thomas. Online condolences
