Mrs. Leta D. Haney, 55, of 131 West Bridge, Portland, died Sunday evening at
Lansing General hospital.  She was born November 21, 1914, in Adrian and was a
resident of Portland over 25 years.

Surviving are her husband, L. Thomas Haney; three sons Lowell Anderson of Port
Austin, Thomas C. Haney of Adrian and Fred P. Haney of Everett, Wash.; four
daughters Mrs. Patty Kramer of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Gwendolyn Doolittle of Grand
Ledge; Mrs. Norma Goff of Ashcroft, British Columbia; Mrs. Eileen Spurrier of
Marysville, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Stella Williams of Portland;
brother, Harry Williams, Jr., of Adrian; sister Mrs. Gwendolyn Nottingham of San
Pedro, Calif.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Neller funeral home in Portland. 
Rev. Maurice Christiansen of Portland Baptist church, of which she was a member,
will officiate.  Interment will be a Portland cemetery.
