Mrs. Bertha Haney, 61, died Thursday morning, January 14. She had been ill for 
the past nine years.

Mrs. Haney was born in Ionia, February 2, 1892, the daughter of John and 
Pauline Grams. She was married to Edward Haney in 1928, He died in 1944.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ernest Lieske, Flint. She was a member of 
St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran church and was employed many years by the 
Michigan Bell Telephone in Ionia.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, at 2 p.m. from the Boynton 
funeral home with the Rev. Eric Cash officiating.

Interment will be in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery.
