LOREN DALE HANEY, 93
Loren Dale Haney died on Friday, July 13, 2018.

He was born February 13, 1925 in ionia, Michigan the son of Herman and Violet
(Jenks) Haney. He lived his entire life on the family farm where he worked with his son,
father, brothers, uncles and nephews. Dale attended Haynor rural school and graduated from
Ionia High School in 1943. He was a lifetime member of the Ionia Community Theatre, member
of the first United Methodist church and a member of the Ionia Elks Club.He served his
community on the Ionia Board of Commissioners and was a lifelong member of Farm 
Bureau. Dale married the love of his life, Dorothy Glossi on June 20, 1948. the were
married for 56 years.

Surviving are his son, Mark (Catherine) Haney; four grandchildren, Lauren (Evan)
Dewitt, Nathan (Tristen) Haney,  Benjamin Haney, Michael (Steven  Perez) Becker brother,
Marvin Haney; brother-in-law, Raymond Glossi, James (Patricia ) Glossi and many nieces,
nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy in 2004, daughter Janie
Haney, son Phillip Haney, sister Beatrice Hawkins and brother Melvin Haney. Cremation has
taken place and a memorial to celebrate Dale's life will be held at a later date.
