The Hastings Reminder, Tuesday, November 24, 1992
Donald O. Haney, 59, of 1032 McArthur Street, Lake Odessa, passed away 
Thursday, November 19, 1992 in Detroit of accidental injuries.  Mr. Haney was 
born on July 21, 1933 in Lake Odessa, the son of Claud and Harriet 
(Sutherland) Haney.  He graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1951 and 
married Marilyn Herbert on December 22, 1951 in Lake Odessa.

He was employed for 15 ½ years with Diamond Reo and for the past 10 years with 
Angelo Construction Company in Lovi.  He attended the Lakewood United 
Methodist Church and was active in the local little league program.

Mr. Haney is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Bryan Haney of Missouri, 
David Haney of Florida; two daughters, Diana Grinnell of Grand Ledge, Cheryl 
Smith of Belding; nine grandsons; one sister, Yvonne Brooks of Lake Odessa; 
two brothers, Ralph Haney of Texas, Max Haney of Florida.  He was preceded in 
death by one sister, Barbara Bower and one brother, Milo (Mike) Haney.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 22 at the Lakewood United 
Methodist Church with Reverend War Pierce officiating.  Burial in Lakeside 
Cemetery, Lake Odessa.  Arrangements were made by Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa.
