The body was taken to the Boynton funeral home and services will be held there Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Rev. Dwight M. Kitch, pastor of First Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa. Suffering a stroke June 17, Mr. Haney had been worried over news conveyed in a war department telegram which said that his son, Edsel, a tailgunner on a Flying Fortress, was missing in action since March 27 on a bombing mission over German occupied Europe. No further word has been received concerning Staff Sgt. Haney. Mr. Haney was married June 1, 1929, and his wife, Bertha, survives.
