Mrs. Eliza Kircheman Hanigan, 92, died April 1, at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. H. Donald Cutler in Detroit where she has lived the past 19 years.  She 
has been ill for three years.

Mrs. Hanigan was born in Ann Arbor, February 12, 1863, the daughter of 
Christian and Eliza Kirsheman.  She was married to James Hanigan June 10, 1882 
at Edmore.  They moved to Ionia shortly after they were married where they 
resided until the death of Mr. Hanigan May 3, 1936.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A. A. Nichol and Mrs. H. D. Cutler; one son, 
Earl all of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. A. A. Kennedy of Grand Rapids; two 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Boynton funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 
o’clock.  Interment will be in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.  The 
family of Mrs. Hanigan will be at the Boynton funeral home Saturday and Sunday 
evenings from 7 to 9 o’clock.
