Funeral services for Mrs. Marina Cobb Hanks, 55, who died suddenly at her home
in Lansing, will be held Thursday at 11:30 (ewt) a.m. at the Estes-Leadly
funeral home, Lansing.  She had been in ill health several months.  Born in
Ronald township May 5, 1888, Marina Cobb was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Cobb. She spent her girlhood in Ronald township and attended the Case school and
North Plains church.  

She was graduated from Ionia high school and 35 years ago was married to Arthur
Hanks of Lansing, a merchant there.  She is survived by her husband, two sons,
Elroy Hanks and Leo Hanks both in the armed forces; three brothers, Clarence
Cobb of Ionia, Lee Cobb and Roy Cobb of Lansing.
