Mr. Hanks was born near Belding and lived here all of his life until he was married twelve years ago. At that time he moved to a farm near Langston and later sold this farm and bought the one two miles from Stanton, where he died. He is survived by a wife and four children, the oldest of which is nine years. He joined the Baptist church when a young man.
