Genevieve “Genny” Hanline, 83, of McBride, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 
2011 at her home. Genevieve was born May 8, 1928 to Sidney and Vevia Pinkston 
in Ionia. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in 
Vestaburg. Genevieve’s favorite pastime was reading. 

Genevieve was preceded in death by her son, Calvin, in 2002; son-in-law Gilles 
Dugas in 2009; four sisters; and two brothers.

Genevieve is survived by her children, Ann Dugas, Mark (Gayle) Hanline, Andrea 
Hanline, Maureen (Dean) Young and Matthew Hanline; 12 grandchildren; man great 
grandchildren; and twin brothers Duaine (June) Pinkston of Portland and Shelby 
(Marcie) Pinkston of Lake Odessa. 

Services for Genevieve will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Brigham 
Funeral Chapel in Vestaburg with Brother Tom Cross officiating. Family will 
receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday July 18, 2011 at the funeral home as 
well as one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
