HANLINE Tal D. Hanline,47, of Ionia, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He was born on Nov.22, 1962 in Belding, the son of Thomas and Norma (Marshall) Hanline. He worked for the State of Michigan Department of Corrections, worked for his father in construction, and also at Brown Corporation and American Bumper in Ionia. He loved to hunt including archery and bow hunting. He also enjoyed fishing and was active in many bass fishing tournaments. Surviving are his parents, Tom and Norma Hanline of Ionia; brother, Kurt W. Hanline and his son Seth William Hanline of Ionia aunts, Lorie (George) Slater of Ionia and Nancy Marshall of Belding; uncles, Richard Havens of Lansing and Larry Shattuck of Ionia; cousins, Bridgett and Dustin Gless and their son, Matthew, Shane Shattuck of Belding, and Sonda(Joe) Werner of Ionia; several other relatives. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 8, 2010 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes,Ionia with Pastor John Prominski, presiding. A Lunch of Celebration of the Life of Tal will take place at Zion United Methodist Church immediately following the service. For those desiring, memorial contributions in memory of Tal may be made to Physically Challenged Children to Hunt and fish. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia.
