Mr. Hanline was born in Wood county, Prairie Depot, Ohio, May 2, 1900, the son of Thomas and Mamie Hanline. He came to Leaton with his father when a small boy. He moved to Ionia in 1923, was married to Vera Heilman, Mr. Hanline was employed by the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture Company for nine years and by the Ionia Road Commission for the last 24 years. Survivors besides his wife, Vera, are one son, Leonard, two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Shattuck and Mrs. Kenneth Flint, seven grandchildren, his father, Thomas, three brothers, Robert, George and Ira, one sister, Mrs. Luluvene Shamp, several nieces and nephews. His mother and one brother, Clarence preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W.W. Pixley officiating. Burial will be in the Balcom cemetery.
