Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 5 Jul 1952

Mrs. Jennie Hansbarger, 75, of Land Odessa died at the Ionia Rest Home 
Saturday, July 5, at 6:30 a.m.  Mrs. Hansbarger was admitted to the 
convalescent home on February 6 after being a patient at Pennock hospital, 
Hastings, following a stroke.  The widow of Harley Hansbarger, they lived in 
Lake Odessa and vicinity all their lives.

Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Gavit of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Audrey 
Barker of Belding, Mrs. Violet Tabatto and Mrs. Jennie Tasker of Grand Ledge 
and Mrs. Gayla Burrows of Rockford; three sons, Murray and Harold Hansbarger of 
Lake Odessa and Harley Hansbarger of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Nancy Chapin and Mrs. Millie Rogers of 
Portland, Mrs. Mary Beaver of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Loretta Gregg and Mrs. Grace 
Ackerson of Sunfield; and a brother, James Shaw of Grand Ledge.

The body was removed to the Pickens funeral chapel, Lake Odessa, where services 
will be held Monday at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
