Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Mar 1948

Arthur J. Hansbarger, veteran Ypsilanti Furniture company employee for 25 years,
died Sunday morning at his home at 319 ½ West Main street after a three months’
illness.  He was 62 years of age.  He was born in Lake Odessa December 18, 1835,
the son of Jerry and Samantha Hansbarger.  In Ionia, December, 1920, he married
his wife, Stella, who survives him.

Surviving his widow are three brothers, Plenie? of Woodland and William and
Nelson of Lake Odessa.  Another brother, Harley, preceded him in death on
September 2, 1944.

His services will be held from the Myers funeral home at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday.
 The Rev. A.R. Kuehn will conduct the service with interment in Highland Park
mausoleum.
