Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 31 Dec 1934

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Boynton 
funeral chapel for Louis Hansen, 84, of Berlin township, who died Saturday.  
Rev. F.J. Fitch, of the Baptist church, conducted the services and bearers were 
Eldon Willard, Orin Gammage, William Morse and Otto Northrup.  Interment was at 
the family lot at the Lyons cemetery.

Mr. Hansen was born August 10, 1850, in Copenhagen, Denmark.  At the age of 33 
years he came to America where he married Miss Stenna Hansen, also of Denmark.  
He leaves one daughter, of Detroit, a step-daughter, of Lansing, and a daughter-
in-law, Mrs. Vera Hansen, of Lansing.
