Barbara J. Hansen, 82, of Belding, passed away Monday afternoon, Feb. 4, 2013 at
Spectrum Health United Hospital in Greenville.  Barb was born Dec. 26, 1930, in
Fenton, the daughter of Irwin and Berneda (VanWagner) Kellogg.

Barb graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1949.  In earlier
years she worked as a clerk at the Secretary of State Office and was head teller
at the Belding branch of Ionia County National Bank.  Barb was a member of New
Hope Church of God, Belding, was active in the women’s group of the church and
she played the organ at church for nearly 60 years.  Barb enjoyed jigsaw and
crossword puzzles, loved to travel and spending winters in Florida.  She was
married on May 19, 1951, in Belding to Robert “Bob” Hansen.

Barb is loved and survived by her husband, Bob; and their children, Bob (Debbie)
Hansen of Belding, Randy (Cindy) Hansen of Greenville, Lynn (Pat) McQuillan and
Craig Hansen, all of Belding; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and
one great-great-grandchild; her sisters and brother-in-law, Jacquelyn Blundon of
Belding and MaryLou (Clarence) Christiansen of Rockford, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastors Kelly Munger and Dave Perry officiating. 
Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Following the funeral cremation
will take place.  Memorial contributions may be given to New Hope Church of
God-Building Fund/Youth Fund.
