Vera F. (Fran) Hansen, 70, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ionia, died Monday,
April 30, at her home.  

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Edward Hansen; their children, Mrs. Chuck
(Maxine) Reck of St. Johns, Mark Hansen and Rex Hansen, both of Grand Ledge;
seven grandchildren; one brother, Elden D. Campbell of Vincennes, Ind.; an aunt,
Elizabeth Hoff of Vista, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of North Park Baptist Church and a retiree of Kent
County Department of Social Services.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Reyers North
Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave., NE, with her pastor, the Rev. James Wells,
officiating.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery, Ionia.  Relatives and friends
may meet her family at the chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Wednesday.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund
of North Park Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
