Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Mar 1955

William Hansing, 69, of 715 West Washington died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at the
Greenville United Memorial Hospital.  He was born February 18, 1886 in Germany
and was a resident of Germany for 40 years.  He was employed at the Ionia
Manufacturing Company nearly 30 years.

Survivors are one son, Wilbert of Gowen, two granddaughters and one grandson. 
His wife died in 1939.

Funeral services will be held at the Myers funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2
o’clock with the Rev. Eric Cash officiating.  Interment will be at the Balcom
cemetery.
