Hanson may pay their last respects at Myers funeral home. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. George Rentschler will officiate. Burial will be in Easton cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Tuesday, June 16, 1953 Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian church for Walter P. Hanson, Ionia automobile dealer who died suddenly at his home on State road last week. The service was in charge of the Rev. George L. Rentschler, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Hanson was an elder member of the session. Burial was at the Easton township cemetery northwest of Ionia. Active bearers were Fred B. Post, Anthony Balice, Raymond Barnes, J.R. Magney, Burr Smith and Nels A. Strand. Member of the Ionia Automobile Dealer’s Association were honorary bearers. Flowers were in charge of employees of the Hanson Motor Sales and Dick Hanson Motor Sales. The staff of the Ionia County Memorial hospital attended the service in a group. Those from away who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Brainard of St. Cloud, Miss.; Mr. and Mrs. J.
