Dec. 17, 1980 DALE B. HANSON CLARKSVILLE - Dale B. Hanson, 66, of 138 Ferney Street, died of an apparent heart attack on Dec. 14 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born on Nov. 12, 1914, in Clarksville, the son of Bert and Gladys Custer Hanson. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1933 and married Louise Zoerner on July 23, 1935 in Grand Haven. He was employee of Fisher Body, Plant 1, in Grand Rapids for 30 years, retiring in February, 1976. Mr. Hanson was a member of the Clarksville Village Council and served on a local board of review. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers; Morrison Lake Country Club and the Clarksville Bible Church. Surviving are his wife, Louise; two sons, Thomas of Woodland and William of Wayland; three brothers, Gilbert of Flagler Beach, Fla., Francis of Birmingham, Mich. and Bert of Lowell; one sister, Mrs. Arlie (Mildred) Haight of Lansing; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Clarksville Bible Church with the Rev. Paul Boger and the Rev. Elwood Norton officiating. Burial will be in the Clarksville Cemetery. A memorial contribution has been established for the Clarksville Bible Church.
