HARD Woodland, WA - Randall S. Hard, age 59, passed away on March 2, 2019 in Woodland, WA. Randy was born March 28, 1959 in Hastings, the son of Willard Sam Hard and Louise (Hanford) Hard. Randy attended high school in Hastings, graduating in 1977. He continued his education by attending one year at Andrews University in Berrien Springs. Randy worked at the Lake Odessa Canning factory for several years before joinging the Air Force. He was assigned to Kessler Air Force Base in Mississippi where he completed his basic training. He then spent six weeks in Texas at Lackland Air Force base where he studied Air Force mission, organization and customs, and received special training in human relations. In addition, Randy received specialized instruction in Avionices System field. Randy worked on the Awas plane for many years as a n Avionices Guiance Icon System Specialist. Randy proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1982 until 1992 during which he traveled to Saudi Arabia and Iceland. Randy enjoyed his life by spending time with his family and three little dogs, listening to country music and watching western movies. Randy was diagnosed with Huntington's disease in 2008 and never let it get him down. Randy remained positive and chose to live every day to the fullest and found his faith in Jesus a comfort. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Vandiver) Hard and daughters, Shannon (Brian) Pickering and Misty Vandiver; granddaughters, McKenzie and Kaylee Pickering; his mother, Louise Hard; brother, Jody (Toni) Hard; sister, Sandra Woodmansee; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Sam Hard and sister, Diana Pebbles.
