Harden, 92, pioneer resident of this area, at the Crandall Nursing Home at St. Johns. She had been in ill health for several years and had been bedridden since November 1955. Born in North Shade township May 5, 1864, the daughter of Dennis and Bridget O’Connell, she married William Harden August 26, 1884. He preceded her in death April 27, 1931. She spent her entire life in the Hubbardston and Carson City community. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Altar Society. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s church here Friday morning at 10 with interment in St. John the Baptist cemetery at Hubbardston. Arrangements are in charge of the Burns-Gunther Funeral Home of Carson City. Officiating will be Fr. Ralph Kelly, Fr. E.R. Fox and Fr. James Brogan. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Harden, of Carson City; two sons, Clare, president of the State Bank of Carson City, and Louis of Cedar Springs, and two grandchildren.
