Ionia Sentinel Standard – Thursday, 3 February 1927
The funeral services for Mrs. G. Harder, who lives between Pewamo and Fowler 
will be held from the family residence, Friday, at 2 o’clock fast time.  Mrs. 
Harder was born in Germany 72 years ago and came to Michigan when a mere child 
and has lived in that vicinity practically since and died Tuesday following a 
six weeks illness.  Mr. Harder died a year ago.  Surviving her are the six 
children, Mrs. Jessie Root and Mrs. Frank Root of Ionia; Mrs. Lena 
Krieghbauhm, Matherton; Charles Harley, Pewamo, and August Harder and Mrs. L. 
W. Moore who live at the old house.
