The Belding Banner, Thursday, July 8, 1965


Miss Louise C. Harding, age 59, 208 Union St., Ionia, died July 1, at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.  Miss Haring, a former Belding resident, had lived in 
Ionia for the past five years where she worked in the Probation Office.  A 
bookkeeper for several years, she was associated with the Belding Chamber of 
Commerce and at one time had a Credit Bureau information center.  With her 
father, the late Fred Harding, she operated the Harding Shoe and Repair Store 
after which she was proprietor of the Western Clothing Store where she had the 
Western Union office.

Her survivors are cousins.

Funeral services were held at the Huffman Funeral Home July 2 with the Rev. 
Marvin Moser of First Church of God officiating.  Burial was in River Ridge 
cemetery.  Pallbearers were George Roberts, Richard Bird, Frank Hull, Donald 
Seeley, Dean Iverson and Richard Christiansen.
