Lowell Ledger – Thursday, 3 July 1947

The community was greatly shocked by the untimely passing of our friend and 
neighbor, Robert G. Hardy.  He will be greatly missed by his family and all 
who knew him.  Mr. Hardy was born and raised in Keene.  Funeral services were 
held at the Morris Funeral Home in Saranac on Sunday, June 29.  Those from 
away who attended were:  Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heckert and Mr. and Mrs. Carl 
Delanie of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Behler and Mr. and Mrs. Will Knorr of 
Detroit; Roy Killian of Farmington; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Teft and Mr. and Mrs. 
Elmer Teft of Riverdale.  Everyone in the community joins in extending 
sympathy to the bereaved family.
