Ionia Standard, Fri., Dec. 11, 1896
Mrs. Vena Hardy, wife of W.J. Hardy, died at Cleveland on the 8th inst., in 
consequence of appendicitis. Remains arrived here this morning and were taken to 
Palo. Deceased was a daughter of Leander Millard at whose house the funeral will 
take place, at 10 o'clock on Sunday. Mr. Hardy is a cigar maker, and worked n 
the Hammell factory in this city. They were living at Cleveland at the time of 
the death of Mrs. Hardy.
