Born in Boston township October 5, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Iaac Jackman, she was taken to Canada when a baby. She resided there until 1884 when she came to Keene township and was married to George Hardy. They lived in Keene until 17 years ago when they moved to Saranac, residing in their present home. Mrs. Hardy was a member of the OES and this summer received life membership in the Saranac chapter. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hardy is survived by four sons, Delbert, Robert and Howard of Keene, David at Home, four grand children, and six great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Saranac Methodist church with Rev. Frank Loomis officiating. Burial will be in the Saranac cemetery.
