The Lowell Journal, Wednesday, March 7, 1883


Died suddenly Feb. 26, 1883, at the home of her son-in-law Mr. D. Blair, in 
Boston, Ionia Co., Mrs. Barbara Hardy, in the 83rd year of her age.  Deceased 
was an exemplary Christian lady and much esteemed by all who knew her.  She 
leaves one son (Mr. Robert Hardy of Keene) and two daughters to miss a 
mother’s cheerful and loving presence.
