Ionia Sentinel – 5 Sept 1936
Wesley Hare, 64, for the past seven years a resident on the Fred Bickley farm 
in Berlin Township, died at the Ionia hospital Thursday morning of heart 
trouble.  He recently submitted to an operation.  Hare, a bachelor, had lived 
and worked at the Bickley farm for the past seven years and was born in Sebewa 
township.  He had lived in Ionia County virtually all of his life.  He is 
survived by two brothers Leon and L. D., both of Palo, and a brother in West 
Virginia.  Funeral services were held at Carson City Saturday afternoon and 
interment was at Crystal cemetery.
