Belding – Ruth Harger, 102, Belding, passed away Saturday, July 19, 1997, at
Belding Christian Nursing Home.  She was born on April 23, 1895, in Stanton, the
daughter of Charles and Minnie Leach Palmer.  She retired from Federal-Mogul in
1957 after several years as an inspector.  She was a member of New Hope Church
of God in Belding.  She married Floyd Harger, who preceded her in death in 1975.

She is survived by her children, Wahneta Magoon of Belding and Cleo Harger of
Grand Rapids; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister,
Erma Burtch of Grayling.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dewey,
Charles and Carl Palmer; and one sister, Betty Kingsley.

Cremation was held.  There will be no visitation or services.  Arrangements were
handled by Johnson Funeral Home, Belding.
