Born January 20, 1939 in Kent City, daughter of Fred & Laura (MacComber) Hoskins. Married Pastor Ken Harger and became his lifelong partner in ministry. She led the children's ministry program at Shiloh Community Church for over 60 years. She also served as the church organist, & shared her musical ministry at many funerals around the area. Bev served the Ionia County Community Mental Health Board for 30 years, was active in PTA, when her children were younger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor,Ken Harger on July 15, 2021. Proceeded in death by two daughters, Dawn Harger & Karlene Kemme; her sister, Linda Luyben. Survived by her children, Pastor Kendall (Juli) Harger, Angie (Mike) Jacobson & Valerie Bauer; son-in-law, Blaine Kemme; grandchildren, Lucas(Trina) Harger, Christian (Nicola) Harger, Alexander Harger, David (Brie) Jacobson, Benjamin (Hannah) Jacobson, Caleb (Rynn) Jacobson, Isaac (Mindy) Jacobson, Samuel (Diana) Jacobson, Hanna (Jonathon)Murrell, Robert (Elizabeth) Kemme, Aileen Kemme, Christine Kemme, Ashley Kemme, Jack Dawdy, Will Dawdy, Arya Dawdy, & Liza Dawdy; Great-Grandchildren, Ellie, Ava, Ruth, Martha, Levi, Abby, Eliza, Mason,Owen, Letty, Aiden, Hudson, Weston, Arlo, Roger & Bruce; brother, Ron (Marilyn) Hoskins; sister, Alice Hamachek & Many other relatives & friends. Funeral Services for Bev will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 19 at Shiloh Community Church, PastorKendall Harger & Pastor James Floyd officiating. Graveside services at Orleans Cemetery will immediate follow, and a luncheon at the Church will follow the graveside services. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., at Shiloh. Memorial contributions may be given to Shiloh Community Children'a Ministry Program at Shiloh Community Church. Johnson-Feuerstine Funeral Home is serving the Harger family .
