                              KAY R. HARGIE

PORTLAND - Kay R. Hargie, 69, of 234 Smith Street, Portland, died May 14 at a 
Lansing Hospital.

He was born May 4, 1919 in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert and Mary Kakabaker 
Hargie.

He was owner of Hargie Oil Company of Grand Ledge.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; one daughter, Kippen Daile Gallagher of 
Pismo Beach, Calif.; one grandson.

Funeral services will be today, at 1 p.m., at Neller Funeral Home in Portland. 
Pallbearers will be Robert Olmstead, Patrick Doyle, Guy James, Charles Burnham, 
Emmett Watson and Steven Wilson.

Burial will be at Portland Cemetery.
