Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, April 26, 1977

MUIR- Lydia Louise Hargrave, a longtime Muir resident, died Sunday morning at 
Ionia manor after a long illness.

She was born August 25, 1892 in Vernon county, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lewis 
and Lena Miller.

She married Harry Daniels in September, 1912. He preceded her in death in 
December, 1921. She married Roy Hargrave in August, 1930 and they moved to the 
Muir area. Mr. Hargrave also preceded her in death.

One daughter and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hargrave was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge and Lyons Baptist 
church. 

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leon Baumbach of Milwaukee Wisconsin and 
Mrs. Evelyn Bower of Kalamazoo; one son, Chester Daniels of Greenville; 11 
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Services are Wednesday at 2 pm from Lyons Baptist church with Rev. Richard 
Harrison officiating.

Burial is in Muir cemetery.

Mrs. Hargrave will repose at the Hull Memorial chapel until noon Wednesday.
