William J. Haring, aged 60, of Palo, passed away Friday, April 1, 2005.  He was 
born May 3, 1944, in Clare, the son of John Haring and Violet (Lavoy) Harming.  
He married Lily V. Fisher December 31, 1971 in Sheridan.

Mr. Haring has been a longtime resident of Palo and was formerly employed at 
GenCorp in Ionia and Newell Company in Lowell.  He was also a Red Cross 
Instructor for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

William is survived by his loving wife, Lily V. Haring; children Starr (Tom) 
Davis of Phoenix, AZ and William and Veronica Haring of Ionia; three 
grandchildren Christie, Kaelan and Chloe; two sisters Darlene (Sid) Fisher of 
Palo and Stacy Haring of Goshen, IN; five brothers Johnny Haring of Clare, 
George (Marilyn) Haring of Coleman, Jack (Glenna) Haring of Clare, D.J. (Lori) 
Haring of Goshen, Jimmy Haring of Clare and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 3rd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Simpson 
Family Funeral Home, Sheridan.  Funeral Services are Monday, April 4, 2005 at 
11 a.m. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan with Pastor Kenneth Harger 
officiating.  Interment Palo Cemetery, Palo.
