The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 28, 1998
Earl E. Harker, 78, of Saranac died at his residence March 27.  He was born in 
Saranac on February 12, 1920 to the parents of Claude (Alma Conner) Harker.  
He married Jean Tucker in June 1944 in Saranac.  She preceded him in death on 
August 8, 1996.

He is survived by one brother James Harker of Grand Rapids, several nieces, 
nephews and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and the memorial service will beheld on Sunday, 
March 29, at 2 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with Scott and Bruce 
Chadwick officiating.  The interment of ashes will be at the Saranac Cemetery 
and anyone wishing may make contributions to Helping Hands Hospice or Sarnac 
Schools.
