Frances (McSween) Harkness, aged 86, passed away Oct. 13, 2008 after a short
illness while residing with her husband Frank of almost 64 years.  Fran was born
on Feb. 15, 1922 in Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Thomas and Mary Ann (Beaton)
McSween and was raised in Detroit.  She married Frank on Oct. 20, 1944 and they
lived for numerous years in Ionia, Ludington and Florida.  For the past three
years she and Frank lived with their daughter, Carol (Mark) Meyer and grandson
Steve Muresan in Commerce Township.

Fran is also survived by daughters Nancy Harkness of Grant Rapids and Lynn
(Bill) Renucci of Manton and their three children, Nick (Nicole) Renucci, Angela
(Dan) Rhoring and Lesley (Greg) Rekucki.  Fran also had five
great-grandchildren, numerous friends and family who loved her very much and
will greatly miss her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ionia.
