The Belding Banner, Thursday, October 18, 1900


Mrs. Pearl Harland, aged 24 years, died last Friday night from consumption.  
She leaves a devoted husband, Frank J. Harland, a baby son about four months 
old, besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Chatlin, two sisters, and three 
brothers.  She had only been married a little over a year.  The funeral 
services were held Monday, Rev. Quick officiating.  It is indeed a sad death 
and the mourning friends have the sympathy of all.
