She suffered a stroke that hastened her demise. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon from the late residence with Rev. Alfred Trenerry, pastor of the Baptist church, in charge. B. J. Boynton was the officiating undertaker and interment was made in Balcom cemetery. She is survived by her husband and four sons, Don and Albert of this city, Dale of Marshall, and Wallace of Battle Creek, and one daughter, Mrs. William Huestis of Battle Creek; two sisters, Mrs. O. C. Smith of Ionia and Mrs. Delia Cook of Elmira, and a brother, E. H. Bennett of Ionia.
