Harley, 62, of route two, Fenwick, died Tuesday evening at her home at Woodard lake following an illness of one week. She was born February 9, 1898 in Ionia, the daughter of John and Lily Startin Waidelich. She was married in 1935 to Albert Harley who died August 15, 1959. Mrs. Harley worked as a nurse in Belding, Ionia and Carson City. She was a member of the Christian Science society in Belding and a member and past commander of the DAV auxiliary of Belding. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Martha Heering of Woodard Lake; a half- sister, Mrs. Gertrude Newcomb of Lake Odessa, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Alberta Waidelich of Ionia. Funeral service will be at Meyers funeral home Friday at 1 p.m. with interment at Balcom cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Subsequent Publication – Saturday, August 12, 1961 Funeral service was held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Olga E. Harley, 63, of Woodard lake who died Tuesday evening at her home following an illness of one week. Christian Science service was read by John Stahlin of Belding. Bearers, members of the Disabled American Veteran Post of Belding, were Clayton Campbell, Frank Hubbard, A. Gibble and Anker Vie. Interment was at Balcom cemetery.
