West Sebewa

Oct. 9 – John Harmel was found lying unconscious by the roadside, where he had
fallen off a load of sand, about 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and died at five. 
He was working for John Shilton of Odessa and his death is supposed to be the
result of heart failure.  He was an industrious young man and the oldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Harmel of West Sebewa.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Lakeside Cemetery.]
