Ionia County News -Thurs, Sept. 24, 1959

JESSE R. HARMON
Jesse Robert Harmon, 63, of Somis, California, a former Ionia resident, died
Wednesday morning, September 23, at Foster Hospital in Ventura, California. He had been
critically ill for about three months.

Mr. Harmon was born November 4, 1895 in Springfield, Kentucky.

Before moving to California, about 30 years ago, Mr. Harmon was employed at the
Ionia State Hospital and later at the Pontiac State Hospital.

Both Mr. And Mrs. Harmon were employed at the Camarillo State Hospital in
California.

Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Spencer of Ionia; one brother, Sam of 
Indianapolis, Indiana, a son and a step-daughter.

Funeral arrangements are being made with the Boynton Funeral Home of Ionia and a 
funeral home in California.
