Linda L. Harp, 42, of Ionia, died Monday at Butterworth Hospital in Grand 
Rapids.  She was born June 15, 1947 in Ionia, the daughter of Robert E. Sr. 
and Velma (Ward) Harp.  She attended the First Assembly of God in Ionia.  She 
was a black belt in Sanchin-Ryu Karate and she taught classes in Ionia.

Surviving are her fiancée, Duane King of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. John 
(Angela) Mosley of Greenville and Lorri Compo of Iona; three grandchildren; 
her parents, Robert and Velma Harp Sr. of Greenville; one brother, Robert Harp 
Jr. of Greenville; one foster brother, Michael Burchfield of Greenville; her 
grandmother, Minnie Ward of Lyons.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the First Assembly of 
God Church of Ionia with the Rev. Burt Glassburn and the Rev. Edwin Carpenter 
officiating.  Burial will be in Tuttle Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be 7 to 
8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.  Memorial contributions 
may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for Linda L. Harp were held Thursday afternoon at the First 
Assembly of God Church in Ionia, with the Rev. Burt Glassburn and the Rev. 
Edwin Carpenter officiating.  The organist was Anna Eckley and the soloist was 
Pat Feazel.

Pallbearers included Craig Sira, Bill Adams, Bob Karlik, Steve Cosgrey, Jim 
Cataline, and Bill Webber.  Burial was in Tuttle Cemetery.

A luncheon was served at the First Christian Church in Ionia.  Arrangements by 
Cook Funeral Home.
