Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 12 Apr 1958

Ralph T. Harp, 60, died Friday afternoon at Lyons.  He was born September 6, 
1896 in Cadillac, the son of Cyril and Carolina Harp.  he was married to 
Lillian Messer in September 1919.  She died in 1935.  On July 17, 1944 he was 
married to Nellie J. White.  He resided in Lyons for 4 years and was employed 
by Ionia Manufacturing Co.

Surviving besides his wife, Nellie, are four sons, Marvin of State Center, 
Iowa; Wesley of Ionia, Robert of Lyons and Robert White; eight grandchildren; 
two brothers, Joseph of South Ionia, and Menard of Bloomington, Calif.; one 
half-brother, George Martell of Ormand Beach, Fla., and a half-sister, Mrs. 
Alice Paquette of Traverse City.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home 
in Muir.  Officiating minister will be the Rev. Elmer Ubbink.  Burial is to be 
in Lyons cemetery.
