Born Dec.18, 1892 in Bushnell Township, Montcalm County, she was the daughter of Jerry and Nellie (VanHorn) Hopkins. She attended rural schools, In 1908 she married George White. He died in 1937. She married Ralph Harp in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was employed by Peschke Packing Plant in Ionia. She lived in Ionia until 1941, before moving to Lyons. She moved to Greenville in 1982. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Robert Harp of Greenville; a daughter-in-law, Mrs.Herbert (Margerite) Blazer of Ohio; a sister, Mrs.Louis (Lila) Bookie of Ionia; four grandsons; 11 great-great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grand- children; and three step-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons. Funeral services will be Friday 2 p.m. at Hull Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mavis Hale officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyhill Cemetery in Palo.
