George L. Harper, 85, of Lyons, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011.

George retired from Riverside Mental Hospital after 29 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Liscombe) Harper in 2000.

Surviving are his children, Linda (Robert) Hubscher and Jerry Harper; one 
granddaughter Maryjane Harper. 

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made 
to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Arrangements are entrusted to the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia
