Betty L. Harper, 72, formerly of Ruskin, Fla., died Sunday at her daughter’s 
home in Ionia. 

She was born October 19, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Martin and 
Effie Hann.  

She attended West Sebewa Church of Christ, Portland.  She is survived by her 
husband Ralph; a daughter Patricia of Ionia; a son, Douglas of Mayville, N.Y.; 
three sisters; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held later.

Memorials may be made to Helping Hands Home Nursing, American Cancer Society, 
or Ionia Area Hospice, in care of Cook Funeral Home.
