                FRANK HARPER PASSES AWAY AT LANSING
                                      -------------
   FOR MANY YEARS A RESIDENT OF ODESSA TOWNSHIP.  LEAVES MANY FRIENDS.
                                      -------------
   Last week Wednesday word came of the death of Frank Harper at Sparrow hospital,
Lansing.  Mr. Harper 
had been in poor health for which he heft his farm in Odessa township, for some
time.  It was thought if he left 
the farm his health would improve, but death came as above mentioned.
   The funeral was held at the home of his son on the farm on Friday and was largely
attended.
   Mr. Harper was for many years a resident of the Baptist Vicinity northeast of
town and a loyal patron of this 
paper and this village.
