John Harper Sr. of Ionia, Michigan, passed away Sept. 12, 2015.  He was born
Jan. 25, 1952.  He was a graduate of Lansing Community College.  He was a
well-respected Corrections Officer until his retirement.

John leaves behind his children: John Russell Harper Jr. (Katrina), Alicia
Michelle Kaja (Jonathan), and grandchildren Christopher and Alaina and siblings
Gem, Sheila and Steve Harper.  He was preceded in death by his parents James
“Jim” Roscoe Harper in 1968, and Dottie Marie Stallcup-Harper in 2011.  John was
liked and loved by almost everyone that knew him.  Please join us in a
Celebration of his life on Friday, Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. at 830 Hunt St., Lyons,
Michigan.
