Veterans Soldier’s Home Obituary Book, Vol. 3, Page 127

Ionia, October 22, 1931.  Paul F. Harrington, thirty one, World war veteran is 
dead of inflammation of the brain.  He is survived by the widow and a son, two 
sisters and two brothers.  He was born at Sherman City and spent his boyhood 
days at Six Lakes.  During the war, he was a member of the Field Hospital and 
enlisted in Grand Rapids, being one of the first to go overseas and the last 
to return.  Funeral services will be held Saturday with interment in Highland 
Park cemetery.
