The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 5, 1985

Ovett Harrington, 72, of Ionia died Monday at the Belding Christian Nursing 
Home.  He was born September 15, 1912 in Orleans Township, the son of Alfred 
and Clora (Clifford) Harrington.  Harrington was a farmer in Orleans Township, 
and was formerly employed by Gibson’s.  He retired in 1972.  He was a member 
of the Senior Citizens’ Group of Ionia, and also a member of Gleaners.

Harrington is survived by a brother, Lee of Ionia, and several nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the Roetman Funeral Home in 
Ionia.  Burial will be in the Higbee Cemetery. The family will be at the 
funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
